Notes
- The CH-1 or 2 at the beginning of each round DOES NOT count as a ST. Join to top of 1st ST in each round.
- It is important that the visor band not be too tight, or the visor will not hold its shape. If you crochet tightly, use a larger hook.
- If the child’s head is slightly larger than average, you can add 1-2 STS to the starting chain and work the rest accordingly.

Other Suggestions...
- If you want the band to be taller, add 1-2 rounds of SC before beginning the visor.
- Use cotton yarn for a visor that will also absorb some sweat in the summer!
- Create an adult size visor by increasing the starting chain of the child size pattern.
- Work the top and bottom rounds of the visor in a contrasting color.
- Use variegated yarn for a colorful visor!
- Sew a button, flower, patch, or appliqué to the side of the visor to make it unique.
