Stitch Guide
MC - Main Color, CA/CB/CC - Color A/Color B/Color C, CH - chain, SC - single crochet, SK - skip, SL ST - slip stitch, ST - stitch
Special Stitch
LSC - long SC (spike) = SC over the CH-1 space into the ST of the previous round
Notes
- Cozy is worked from the top down.
- To help hide the seam, change colors at the CH-1 of each round.
- Do not cut the yarn at each color change. Instead, carry the unused yarns inside the cozy and fasten off at the end.
- Crochet snugly. The warmth and moisture of the coffee cup will make the cozy expand.

Other Suggestions
- Other yarns that will work well: Lion Brand Cotton, Red Heart Creme de la Creme, Bernat Handicrafter
- If possible, I recommend putting the cozy onto the cup before filling it, just to be safe.
- Cotton cozies are microwave-safe. Do not microwave acrylic cozies, or a cozy embellished with buttons, etc.
- Use a different color for each of the color change rounds. Use up all those scraps!
- If you want your cozy to be a little taller, work an additional round of SC at Round 2 and Round 15.
- Embellish your cozy with buttons, patches, or appliqués to make it unique!
