Shop of the Week - HOFFEE AND A NUFFIN

I am a BIG fan of this week's shop.  Hoffee and a Nuffin is one of the cutest shops ever... and the owner, Rebecca, is super nice & super talented.  Most of the items in her shop are sock monkey inspired, but she has a great variety of items for everyone!

Rebecca makes sock monkeys... they are adorable & the quality is beyond excellent.  All 3 of my kids have one & they LOVE them!!!

Many of my hooker friends own at least one of these hand-carved rubber stamps.  There are several designs available in her shop & she will accept SOME custom orders!

Rebecca also knits coffee socks!  This knitting pattern is available in her shop, too!

If you're a fan of mine, today's shop shouldn't be new to you... HollyCraft Originals is one of my favorites!  Holly makes hand-sewn fabric appliqués & embellishments.  They are very cute, colorful,  and excellent quality!  She has a wide variety of shapes/styles, and enjoys custom orders!

Holly made this tractor for me when a customer requested a hat to match her John Deere nursery theme!  Cute, huh?

Check out these tiny owls!  They're perfect for hats, purses, sweaters, or anywhere else you want to put them.  They also look great as scrapbook embellishments!

I LOVE these colorful flowers!  I could think of about 20 things to put these on.  SO pretty!

I've gotten to know lots of other hookers over the past few years, and one of them is my friend Mel.  She owns Mel's Crocheted Creations... her shop is STOCKED with items for everyone in the family.  Mel has also been very supportive of CSC, and you may see a few of my designs in her shop also!

My absolute favorite item in her shop is this cowl.  It's not just ANY cowl... it's for a supplemental nursing system.  The inside of the cowl conceals a small bottle.  Click HERE for more info & photos.  REALLY wonderful idea!

There are a lot of people making crocheted cowboy/girl hats these days, but Mel's are just too cute!  Her work shows great attention to detail & she clearly loves what she does!

Mel sells a great variety of items for boys & girls... for all seasons.
I really like this little hat for spring & summer!

Weekly Wrap Up

I haven't been blogging much... sorry about that.  Being pregnant has zapped ALL of my motivation.  Just wanted to stop by & share a few of this week's projects with you...

I finally got around to making a hat for our new baby boy... hopefully he will decide it's time to come out soon!  I bought this skein of variegated yarn months ago, but it's too "weird" for most projects... but I think it turned out really cute with the little blue ears. :)
I'm technically on maternity leave, but if you'd like a bear hat for your little one, you can customize one at

This beanie is available in the RTS Sale on my AmeliaCalvin fan page.  There are LOTS of items available there & the prices are GREAT!  Definitely go check it out!
(The fabric owl was handmade by HollyCraft Originals.)

A customer ordered these black wrist warmers.  I haven't made a set of these in a while.  The free pattern is available here on my blog!
