Weekly Weigh-In

I lost 1/2 a pound this week.  I'm actually VERY happy with that.  I ate a LOT of junk food (pizza, cupcakes, girl scout cookies) this week, and I seriously expected to have at least a 1 lb gain.  Most of the junk food is all gone, and I can get re-focused on my goal.  I've lost 8 pounds total, and I'm really looking forward to seeing a *10* on my ticker! 


If you're dieting, how's it going?

    Good job! Every loss is a loss to be celebrated- small steps add up in the end! I lost 40lbs over the last year and it was a long journey but worth it at the end... small changes to your eating and working out that can be maintained are the key!!! If it doesn't fit into your lifestyle then it won't work long term! I did the Jillian Michaels 30-day shred video because it was 20min long and I figured even *I* could fit in 20min a few times a week between kids, full time work, college, dogs, husband, house, etc..

    I'm actually celebrating my weight loss by signing up to do the Susan G Komen 3-day Walk for the Cure in DC this September! Would love to have you as a corporate sponsor if you're interested! If you'd like to donate to my walk I'd be more than happy to wear a bright shirt with your website address on it to the kickoff where the media will be there taking pictures or during the walk as a "walking billboard" Let me know if you'd have any interest! If not a sponsorship, maybe you wouldn't mind sharing the website for my walking donation page with your fans or perhaps setting up a fundraiser between now and Sept.?
